Rocky Mountain Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (RMTAAC) is an independent, non-profit organization funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. We are one of eleven national non-profit organizations that provide Trade Adjustment Assistance to eligible firms. Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAA), a federal program, provides financial help to firms affected by import competition. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce, this cost sharing federal assistance program pays for half the cost of consultants or industry-specific experts for projects that improve a firm's competitiveness. We provide expert management assistance and funding to help manufacturers design strategies and implement projects in order to compete more effectively. We have helped hundreds of firms in the Rocky Mountain region receive Trade Adjustment Assistance grants. After working with RMTAAC, many firms have reached employment and revenue growth that exceeds industry averages. We are affiliated with the Business Research Division of the Leeds School of Business and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
