How TAA Works
How Trade Adjustment Assistance Grants work for Manufacturers and your Business

Stages of the Business Assistance Process

1. Application:
One of our experienced Project Managers will provide an initial consultation to assess your Eligibility and prepare an application on your behalf. Any information provided to RMTAAC is held under the strictest confidence. This process takes approximately two months to complete, depending on the accessibility of company information.

2. Analysis Plan:
Upon approval of your application, a Project Manager will work with your management team to develop a customized plan designed to help your business grow and prosper. The primary purpose of the plan is to identify areas that will most benefit from allocation of grant funding. This plan will also include a review of your industry, your company's position within it, and a competitive analysis. In order to assure company buy-in to the project and the grant funding, the Department of Commerce charges the client 25% of the plan development cost. This process usually takes 2-3 months to complete.

3. Project Work:
Now you're ready to move forward with the projects to strengthen your business. RMTAAC resources will help you find, manage and fund customized projects. Once accepted to the program, our partnership generally lasts 2-3 years. Contact Us to get started today!
